Startup Scout
- Hybrid
- Tbilisi, Tbilisi, Georgia
- Startupbootcamp
Job description
About Us
Startupbootcamp is one of the world’s largest and most active startup accelerators, operating in 20+ cities since 2010. We’ve helped thousands of founders grow faster through mentorship, investment, and unmatched access to global networks of investors, corporates, and partners.
Now, for the first time, we’re bringing Startupbootcamp to Georgia. Launching in Tbilisi, our program will accelerate the country’s most ambitious founders and connect them to global opportunities.
We’re hands-on, deliverables-based, and all about building startups that move fast and scale smart.
Our team culture? Ambitious, collaborative, and fun. We work hard, play hard, and thrive in a hybrid environment where results matter more than hours behind a desk. This means you will also have to be flexible with your timings as some events may take place in the evenings or on weekends. If you want to be part of an international network but help shape a brand-new local program from day one, this is your chance.
About The Role
As our Startup Scout, you’ll be the bridge between Startupbootcamp and Georgia’s most ambitious founders. Your mission is to discover the next wave of startups that will change the world and bring them into our accelerator. This role blends research, outreach, and community-building. You’ll dig deep online, but also be the face of SBC at conferences, meetups, universities, and ecosystem events.
Your Responsibilities
Conduct outreach to identify and engage high-potential founders in Georgia and the region
Scout, screen, and qualify high-potential startups for our accelerator programs
Build strong connections with founders through interviews, outreach, and participation in events
Build and maintain relationships with universities, incubators, hubs, and founder communities
Manage the scouting pipeline and keep CRM data fresh and up-to-date
Represent the program at events, pitch nights, hackathons, and conference, helping us stay top-of-mind with the ecosystem
Provide feedback to applicants and maintain goodwill even with non-selected startups
Support the Marketing & Event Manager with founder-focused campaigns and promotions
Work closely with program, portfolio and operations teams to align scouting and stakeholder engagement strategies
Job requirements
You are
Curious, connected and passionate about startups, tech and innovation
A natural connector and people-person who thrives on building relationships, both online and face-to-face, and comfortable representing the program externally
Flexible to balance outreach, events and desktop research
Experienced with 1-3 years in a startup or innovation ecosystem, within scouting, community-building, stakeholder engagement, or sales
Organized, analytical, and not afraid of digging into data (CRM, research tools, spreadsheets)
Fluent in English and Georgian; additional languages are a plus
A fast learner who’s comfortable working independently and in a small, ambitious team
Perks and Benefits
Be at the front line of Georgia’s startup ecosystem
Build a massive network of founders, mentors, investors and partners in Georgia and the region
Work in a global organization where your scouting results have real impact
Hybrid working style: results matter more than hours at a desk
Learning opportunities - access to workshops, events, webinars and SBC international best practice tools
24 days of annual leave
Join an ambitious, fun-loving team that knows how to work hard and play hard
