About the Role
We’re seeking a Junior Marketing Lead to join our Amsterdam team and play a pivotal role in local marketing initiatives and accelerator programs. You will work closely with our Global Head of Marketing while driving impact on a local level.
This role offers hands-on experience across content creation, newsletter development, ad copywriting, and marketing funnel organization. If you’re brimming with ideas, have a can-do attitude, and are ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
Content Writing:
Create engaging and relevant content for blogs, social media, and the website.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.
Newsletter Development:
Support the creation and distribution of newsletters.
Help maintain and grow our email subscriber list.
Ad Copywriting:
Write compelling ad copy for marketing campaigns.
Ensure all ad copy aligns with the brand voice and marketing objectives.
Marketing Funnel Organization:
Support the organization and optimization of the current marketing funnel.
Track and analyze marketing metrics to improve performance.
Events & Community:
Assist in planning and promoting local events, including pitch days, workshops, and startup showcases.
Strengthen the local startup community through outreach and meaningful interactions.
Learning Opportunities
Gain practical experience in diverse marketing tasks and projects.
Learn about various marketing strategies and tools.
Develop skills in content creation, copywriting, and marketing analytics.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge or proven track record in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Previous experience in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a similar role.
Bonus: Experience as a content creator (TikTok, Reels, YouTube, etc.).
Strong writing and communication skills.
Clear understanding of marketing principles and digital tools.
Enthusiastic, creative, and eager to learn.
Passionate about technology and the startup ecosystem.
Energetic, proactive, and comfortable sharing ideas.
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Fluent in English (Dutch or another language is a plus).
