About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Relations Intern to join our team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will work within the Relations Unit, supporting key stakeholder relationships, community management, and event coordination. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in relationship management, event organization, and startup ecosystem engagement. You will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working closely with mentors, partners, investors, and the broader startup community.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing relationships with mentors, partners, and investors.

  • Support community-building initiatives, helping to foster an engaged and active ecosystem.

  • Organize events and networking opportunities for startup founders, corporate partners, and investors.

  • Contribute to internal data processing and automation to improve relationship management efficiency.

  • Support marketing and communications efforts, ensuring key stakeholders remain informed and engaged.

  • Act as a liaison between the internal team and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Provide general support to the Relations Unit in managing ongoing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at a Dutch university (internship must be part of the curriculum) in Business Administration, Communication, Event Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in event coordination, relationship management, or community engagement is a plus.

  • Experience in fast-paced, international, or startup environments is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English

  • Strong social and networking abilities with a natural talent for relationship-building.

  • Ability to solve problems proactively and adapt to changing priorities.

  • High energy and enthusiasm for entrepreneurial and startup environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and event/project management tools.

  • Must reside in or near Amsterdam
